By accessing this website or booking an appointment, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not accept them, please do not use this website or book treatments with us.

1. About us

DermMED Aesthetics is a doctor-led medical aesthetics clinic providing evidence-based cosmetic and skin treatments in Ingleby Barwick.

2. Medical & aesthetic disclaimer

All treatments provided are medical or cosmetic procedures.

• Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed.
• Information on this website is for general guidance only.
• It does not replace a face-to-face medical consultation.
• A full consultation and clinical assessment will always be performed prior to treatment.

3. Consultations & treatment suitability

• A consultation is required prior to treatment.
• You must provide a complete and accurate medical history.
• Treatment suitability is determined solely by the practitioner.

DermMED Aesthetics reserves the right to decline or delay treatment if it is deemed clinically inappropriate.

4. Consent

• Written informed consent is required before all treatments.
• You must have the capacity to understand the procedure, risks and alternatives.

A cooling-off period may apply for certain treatments in line with best practice.

5. Appointments & deposits

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
• Appointment times are reserved specifically for you.

Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling.

6. Cancellation & missed appointments

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Less than 48 hours' notice: deposit will be retained.
• Failure to attend: full deposit will be lost.

7. Refund policy

• All treatments and packages are non-refundable once commenced.
• No refunds will be issued for change of mind.

8. Results & expectations

• Results vary between individuals.
• Multiple sessions may be required.
• Maintenance treatments may be necessary.

No guarantees are provided regarding outcomes.

9. Laser & energy-based treatments

For treatments including laser hair removal and laser facials:

• A patch test is required prior to treatment.
• You must avoid sun exposure, fake tan and contraindicated medications.

Failure to follow pre-treatment advice may result in cancellation of treatment and increased risk of complications. DermMED Aesthetics accepts no liability where pre- or post-care advice is not followed.

10. Injectables & advanced treatments

For treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, PRP and skin boosters:

• Risks may include bruising, swelling, infection and rare complications.
• All procedures are performed by a qualified medical professional.

11. Aftercare responsibility

You agree to follow all aftercare advice provided. DermMED Aesthetics is not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions.

12. Pricing & promotions

• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Confirmed bookings will honour agreed pricing.
• Promotional offers are time-limited and non-transferable.

13. Children & clinic safety

Children are not permitted in treatment rooms for safety and clinical reasons.

14. Liability

DermMED Aesthetics will not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses.
• Outcomes where medical history was incomplete.
• Failure to follow aftercare advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for negligence causing death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Website use

All website content is owned by DermMED Aesthetics. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute content without permission.

16. Data protection & privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

17. Complaints procedure

18. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
